Hi Graham,

 

Nice to hear from you (after all these years!!)

 

‘fraid the group is pretty much defunct these days. The tug is out of permit
and hasn’t been flown for a couple of years. We had a field near Wheatley
for a while, but the farmer had to pack up dairy farming and plough it over.

 

We could still winch at Georges, but there doesn’t seem to be anyone
interested anymore, Brendan and myself would like to be able to operate but
it doesn’t seem to happen, its been over a year since anyone did anything
there.

 

Back to hill flying???????????

I left a message on the club web site email to find out the current status
of the club and whether it’s still going. 

I have had a very poor years flying and need to get more active again. I was
hoping you guys are still active and wondered what’s happening with the
winch & tug etc.
